Kheirat, the name of our organization, means charity in Arabic. And it is through charity that we hope to bring positive change to our community. Our organization's name serves as a reminder that every little act of kindness can make a difference in the
lives of those around us. We strive to embody this spirit of charity in all of our work, and we hope to inspire others to do the same.
20 Shillings Kheirat Faith Based Community Organization was founded by a group of concerned residents who saw the need for a safe and nurturing environment for the youth in their communities.
These individuals
recognized the challenges facing children and youth in the area, including high levels of drug use, a lack of educational opportunities, and few options for skills development. With a shared vision and a commitment to creating
positive change, they came together to create an organization that would provide support and hope for the future.
Today, Kheirat Faith Based Community Organization remains committed to its mission of promoting education, reducing drug use among youths, and empowering them with the life skills they need to thrive. Through a range of programs and initiatives, we provide children and youth with access to education, mentorship, and skills development opportunities, with the aim of helping them achieve their full potential and build a brighter future.
Structure:
We understand that many of the parents in our community are underprivileged and face financial challenges that make it difficult for them to provide for their children's basic needs, let alone contribute towards their education. However, we firmly believe
that even the smallest contribution can make a significant difference in a child's life. That's why we work closely with these families to identify ways in which they can support their children's education, whether it's
through making a monetary donation or volunteering their time.
Through our community outreach programs, we provide resources and support to help parents become more involved in their child's education, such as workshops on financial literacy, parenting skills, and academic support. We also partner with local businesses and organizations to provide scholarships, sponsorships, and other forms of financial assistance to families in need. By working together, we can help bridge the gap between underprivileged families and quality education, and ensure that all children have an equal opportunity to succeed.
